Bragg Jam may be over but the music in Macon continues. The Big House Allman Brothers Museum hosting live music this Sunday.
"Bragg Jam is a wonderful event and we want to give people a reason to come to Macon and spend the weekend. So we thought since Bragg Jam was Friday and Saturday, we'd do something Sunday to entice people to spend the whole weekend here in Macon. it's a great thing for the community," says Peggy Thompson, Big House.
An in addition to being a community building event, Sunday's Hair of the Dog jam at the Big House and Bragg Jam help to keep the rich Macon Music tradition alive and kicking.
"It's just tremendous because we've had so many great musicians that's come out of Macon Georgia. Where have we had more great people? We had Otis, we had the Allman Brothers, we had Little Richard and so we just need to keep that alive. The music here in the 70's was just huge and there were people out every night. So we're just trying to give people something to do, an alternative," Greg Potter, Museum Director.
The Big House hosted the bands Sol Junky, Scott Little, and Oh Dorian at the event. In Macon I'm Chace Ambrose for News Central.
