The bond hearing for a Kathleen teenager accused of killing her sister and setting their family home on fire is cancelled.

Houston County District Attorney George Hartwig tells NewsCentral, the bond hearing scheduled for 17-year old Carmen Kaneisha Collins was cancelled just before the 8:30 a.m. hearing on Thursday morning. Hartwig says no new date has been set for a bond hearing.

Collins is accused of shooting her 13-year old sister, India Collins, to death in their Addington Drive home on July 3, 2012. An autopsy revealed that the cause of death was from multiple gunshot wounds.

According to Houston County Sheriff's Office investigators, Collins obtained a .40 caliber handgun and shot her sister multiple times before using gasoline to set the inside of the home on fire.

Collins then fled the scene in her family’s 2011 Acura TL automobile with the suspected murder weapon and the family’s dog.

Carmen Kaneisha Collins is facing first degree arson and murder charges.

She is being held without bond at the Houston County Law Enforcement Center.
