Bond Denied for Murder Suspect Frank Reeves

NewsCentral Staff

Bond has been denied for Frank Reeves, the 73-year-old wheelchair bound suspect charged with the shooting death of Linda Hunnicutt at a Gray Highway gas station last month.

Judge Howard Simms denied the defendant's request to bond out of the Bibb LEC where's he's been held shortly after the December 4th shooting.

In his 2 page response order, Judge Simms notes that days prior to the shooting, Reeves’ family began guardianship proceedings involving the 73-year-old stroke victim. Simms says that, coupled with the unpredictability of the defendant, resulted in the decision of denying bond.

WGXA is reaching out to Reeves’ defense attorney Veronica Brinson for reaction. We’ll have more on this story as it develops.
