As many racist people there are in this area, as soon as a *hate crime* happens certain people are quick to ask "why does it have to be a race thing"? Seriously?

I do not believe this was a "hate crime", however I do believe these young men had to have hate in their hearts in order to do such a horrendous act. They shot him in the back. THis is awful. I don't know what has come over this young people here. Murder is all they seem to understand.

I knew these boys. I dont why they thought it had to come to this. This wasnt a hate crime, but it is a terrible atrocity for what they did. My heart goes out to all families involved, particularly the deceased. That is all.

Why does this have race issue? Of course what they did was wrong but why do you assume that it is a race related crime, just because two races are involved doesn't mean anything. People that say that it's a race issue are the true racists, equality will never be realized if any time something bad happens someone yells that it only because they were different races. If you do not know the people involved why make that judgement, do not assume that race has any relevance in the case. As for the media peaceable say something and cause a change in a constructive positive manner, negativity creates negativity. Finally if you are going to post something in a place like this and want to be taken seriously you should learn how to type like an intelligent person.

For all of you who did not know, justice in Macon depends on his or her race. All African-Americans in this racist town should be fed up with this type of discrimination. One can't help but believe this “itty bitty” town is racist, if a black commit a crime, he or she is on the all three of the “itty bitty” TV stations, the internet, the newspaper, and the “itty bitty” radio stations. Why aren't these two racist cowards plaster all over the mass media? And to Trevorius’ family, I encourage you to not let Trevorius’ death be in vain. Demand the attention of the mass media. My prayers go out to Trevorius’ family and my prayers go out to the two accused coward’s families as well. Those two little racist cowards are really going to need prayer and God in the “big house”; there they will not have their racist little police station, racist family members or racist judges to protect them.

you don't know whether they are murderers or not. thank god this is america and hopefully the justice system will be more understanding. it isn't up to you to decide whether or not they are guilty with no proof. and i really hope you are put in there situation if you really are that ignorant.
