Body Found in Macon Apartment

A dead body was found in a Macon apartment on Saturday.

Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones tells WGXA a 42 -year-old female was found dead in an apartment on the 900-block of Plant Drive in the Tindall Heights neighborhood.

Jones was not able to say if the death was suspicious, but a police mobile crime lab was on the scene.

Police spokesperson Jami Gaudet said the woman died of natural causes.
