Boat Falls Off Trailer on I-75 in Monroe County

Traffic in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Monroe County was completely backed up Saturday due to an unlikely vehicle stalled out on the road.

Monroe County Emergency Management says a boat fell off a trailer after the car that was hauling it lost control.

All lanes near mile marker 191 were closed for around a half hour until a heavy wrecker could haul the boat to the shoulder.

Monroe County EMA Director Matt Perry says no injuries were reported.
