Bible-Toting Man Steals from Macon Pizza Restaurant

A bible-toting man wearing a cross is accused of holding up a local pizza place.

Macon Police Spokesperson Jami Gaudet tells WGXA that a man stole a tip jar from a Doughboy Pizza location and ran out the door Monday evening.

A bike patrol officer later located Thomas Augustus Waller and took him to the Bibb County LEC. Waller is charged with theft by taking and two superior court probation violations. He remains in jail on $650 bond.
