A Bibb County man is in the Twiggs County jail after reportedly confessing to shooting and killing his newlywed wife.

45-year-old Marcus Hoskins admits to killing his wife, Danielle Hoskins. Deputies say he led them to the Bond Swamp National Wildlife Refuge where he left her body.

Hoskins has been charged with felony murder, kidnapping and false imprisonment among other charges.

"Mr. Hoskins contacted the Jones County Sheriff's Office and talked with one of the investigators there and told him what he had done. He brought the Jones County investigator to the scene and showed him where he was at and where it happened at," said Twiggs County Sheriff Darren Mitchum.
