Bibb County Homeowner Uncovers Old Human Remains

A homeowner bulldozing his property makes a surprising discovery.

Eddie Peacock uncovered four to five grave sites on his property in East Bibb County off Emory Highway Monday night.

The concrete slabs contained human remains, but only two of the names on the marker were legible.

Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones is now trying to connect the present to the past.

Jones told WGXA, "I am trying to find the next of kin to see what the legal ramifications are. Some of these people died in 1934."
