Bibb County 2nd Grader had Drugs on Campus

Bibb County School officials are looking into why a second grader came to school with drugs.

A letter to Heritage Elementary School parents says a teacher found the "controlled substance" Thursday morning.

School officials and Campus Police searched the entire classroom but found only one student with drugs.

School Officials did not identify what type of drugs was in the student's possession.

They have not said how the student will be disciplined. The letter stated "the investigation into the incident is ongoing."
