Bibb Animal Shelter Receives Donation from PetSmart

The Bibb County animal shelter is getting some financial help for its four-legged friends.

The PetSmart Charities Foundation awarded a 100-thousand dollar grant to the shelter.

The Macon-Bibb County animal welfare shelter will use the grant for a new pilot program. The goal is to jump-start the importance of spaying and neutering dogs. The pilot program continues for two years in Bibb county.
