Bear's Den Mainstay Celebrates 100 Years of Life

A local restaurant honors a woman who has been a part of their business success.
Ethel Harrison volunteered at the Bear's Den on Oglethorpe Street and worked from 1989 to the time she was 92.
Employees at the Bear's Den celebrated Ethel’s one hundredth birthday with cake and some of the friends and diners she came to love.
Betty Marshall\Ethel's Daughter:
“She has always cared about people, and she loves nice shoes. She has always said I am going to live to be 100! “
Ethel will be remembered for her smiling face as she bused tables and for always pouring an endless supply of sweet tea for customers.
