Autopsy Reveals Cause of Death for 12-Year-Old Girl

The Houston County Sheriff’s offices continue to investigate the death of 12 year old India Collins. An Autopsy revealed that the cause of death was from multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigators determined that on Tuesday afternoon (July 3, 2012), that the victim India Collins,12 and her sister Carmen Collins, 17 were at their home together on 122 Addington Drive in Kathleen, Georgia. The investigation also revealed that between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Carmen Collins Obtained a .40 caliber hand gun and shot the victim multiple times and after the shooting used gasoline to set the inside of the home on fire.

Carmen Collins then fled the scene in her family’s 2011 Acura TL automobile with the suspected murder weapon and the family’s dog.
