Autopsy expected Tuesday for woman found dead in Macon home

An autopsy is set for Tuesday after Macon Police find a body during a welfare check on Monday.

Police say they responded to a home in the 3000 block of River Ridge Drive around 3:30 Monday afternoon. Inside they found the resident deceased.

She's described as a 40-year-old white female. Macon Police say their investigation will continue as they await autopsy results and a cause of death.
