Autopsy Results Expected in Cordele Man's Death

Autopsy results are expected for the death of a Cordele man.
Cordele police say Tuesday morning family members found 39-year-old Atonzo Smith on his back porch on West Eighteenth Street after hearing gun shots.
Smith was shot in his abdomen.
When police arrived he was still conscious, but was pronounced dead after arriving at a nearby hospital.
The search continues for the murder suspect.
Funeral arrangements are still pending.
