Arson Suspected In Macon Fire

An arsonist may be to blame for an early morning house fire in Macon.

Investigator Ben Gleaton with the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department tells WGXA, a home on Brentwood Avenue was intentionally set on fire just after 6:30 a.m. on Monday.

Gleaton says two separate fires were set inside the abandoned home. No one was injured during the blaze.

Gleaton is asking anyone with any information about the fire to call the Arson Hotline at 1-800-282-5804.
