Arrest Made in Case of Stolen Trailers

Metal Theft Investigators with the Bibb County Sheriff's Office discovered 21 stolen commercial box type trailers Thursday on the property of KT Recycling located on Jeffersonville Road in east Macon. The Macon Police Department assisted in taking Bradley K. Blackshear of Mimosa Drive into custody after the discovery.
The preliminary investigation revealed that Blackshear sold all of the trailers to KT Recycling over the course of several months.
The trailers recovered had been stolen from Dooly County, Butts County, Monroe County, Laurens County, Newton County, the City of Macon and south Bibb County.
Blackshear has been charged with 21 counts of felony theft by receiving is had bond set at $46,000. Blackshear has additional holds for the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the Dooly County Sheriff’s Office, the Butts County Sheriff’s Office and the East Dublin Police Department where he will face additional charges involving the stolen trailers.
Blackshear is the owner of Q&B Trucking of Macon. This was his third arrest in Bibb county.
The investigation is on-going and additional arrests are possible.
