Arrest Made in Bibb County Indoor Pot Growing Operation

An indoor marijuana growth operation has been discovered in west Bibb County.

A search warrant was served Thursday afternoon at a house on Thomaston Road by the Bibb County Sheriff's Office Drug Unit.

34-year-old Scott Eugene Seymour, Jr. was arrested in connection with the two grow operations.

Over 100 marijuana plants and 43 stalks were seized. The potential street value of the plants could bring up to $210,000. Items used to cultivate the marijuana, Xanax pills and a shotgun were also seized.

Seymour is being held in the Bibb County LEC.
