Arkwright Road to temporary close this weekend

If you're hitting the road this weekend, prepare for possible delays on the interstate.
Arkwright Road at the bridge over I-75 will temporary close so road crews can set new bridge beams. Drivers heading southbound on I-75 could experience some delays since a lane will be closed due to the construction.
The lane closure begins Saturday at noon and lasts until 6 p.m. Drivers wishing to exit at Arkwright Road will be detoured to exits 167 and 171 in order to avoid the construction zone.
Motorists are advised to reduce speeds as they travel through this construction work zone. Message boards, barrels and cones will be utilized to alert the public of the upcoming traffic changes. Drivers should be aware that personnel and equipment will be operating in close proximity to travel lanes.
