NewsCentral Staff

A woman at Macon's Rescue Mission claims she was sexually assaulted at the facility's GED Dove Center.

According to the police report, the alleged incident happened Monday afternoon.

The 22-year-old victim claims she was first approached by her attacker to perform a sex act on him. When she refused, he allegedly grabbed her, but she was able to get away.

The report states there is video evidence supporting the victim's timeline of certain events.

WGXA spoke with Macon Rescue Mission Executive Director Jeff Nicklaus, who confirms the facility called police, has barred the alleged attacker from the premises, and in light of this incident, is reconsidering whether or not to continue community GED classes at the location.

Warrants are said to be issued for the 19-year-old suspected attacker.
