All Lanes of I-16 Open in Laurens County Following Fatal Accident

NewsCentral Staff

All four lanes of I-16 are back open in Laurens County after last week's deadly crash.

The Georgia State Patrol says repairs are complete on the interstate near Montrose.

Road crews spent several days repairing pavement in the right, west-bound lane damaged by the heat from a tanker truck explosion.

The chain reaction pile-up killed four people and injured nine others last Wednesday when 27 cars collided on the foggy highway.
