All Adoptable Macon-Bibb Animal Shelter Animals Find A Home

The animals facing death row at the Macon-Bibb Animal Shelter are saved on Monday.
More than 80 adoptable animals have been given a home or rescued by people from around the country and even Canada. Non-profit organization, Paws for Hope and Faith issued a pardon more than 2 weeks ago to stop euthanasia at the shelter. The pardon ended last Wednesday but the shelter gave the group 72 more hours to find all the animals a home, which it did. Organization President, Shane Smith, said the shelter by the end of Monday didn’t have any animals ready for adoption. He and his wife Janet not only saved the dogs originally under the pardon but a few more that came through the door over the last few days. Smith will be scheduling transports in the upcoming days for the animals to reach their new homes
