Air Conditioner Problems Force Half Day for Twiggs Students

In Twiggs County, air conditioning problems are forcing changes to the first day of the school year.

Twiggs County Communications Manager Judith Glover says the school day at Twiggs County Middle and High School will end at 11:30 a.m. for all students.

The school is experiencing problems with the air conditioner at the middle and high school and administrators hope to have the problem corrected by Monday afternoon.
