Some people come for the games, some people come for the food, and some people come for the rides.

"I love it because they go fast. I went on a roller coaster and it's awesome."
"I like when they go up high and some of them bumping... like some of them go really really fast."
"They scared, but I could ride every ride out here, but they'd be screaming, all over."
"It's just cool..."
"I like rides."
In addition to several rides seen in previous years at the Georgia State Fair, many new rides are making their debut.
In a brief moment of bravery, I tried the Hamster Dance Ball where you literally get zipped up and let loose in this homemade pool. If you're able to stand up, you can run around the plastic ball, the same way a hamster might, or just enjoy the water-free bubble. This ride is brand new to the fair. Owner and operator, Bobby Bullit says he hopes the ride is a big hit.
"Its something new kids love it; people love it. It’s a new invention it came out about a year ago and i just hope it hits big here." –Bobby Bullit/Hamster Dance Ride
If plastic balls aren't your thing, you may want to try out the M-4 Simulator. After choosing a course, the brave rider climbs in, and takes a spin... literally. The ride comes equipped with a full harness, and the rider watches a simulation while being tossed and turned in all directions. No matter what your style, there's sure to be something here for everyone at the Georgia State Fair. In Macon, I'm Kimberly Newman for News Central.
