Public Safety Committee Discusses JAG Grant

The Public Safety Committee of Macon City Council holding their regular meeting this Monday.
The committee again tabling an agreement for a 40,000 JAG grant to be used for an early warning system for the city and county.
The committee had several questions regarding a similar system already in use by Bibb County.

“Hopefully at our next meeting in two weeks we'll be able to get all of our questions answered,” said Macon City Council Member Larry Schlesinger.

This Tuesday there will be a special meeting at city hall wherein the mayor is expected to announce his new candidate for Macon/Bibb EMA Director
