Sex Trafficking Case Thrown Out After Investigator Allegedly Committs Perjury

Bibb County Investigator Allie Seckinger allegedly lied under oath during a mid January trial. Because of that, the District Attorney's Office was forced to throw out at least 3 cases. One of those being a human trafficking case involving a minor.
Shuntain Griffin and Marcus Henley are accused of trafficking a 14-year-old Macon girl for sexual servitude, and are accused of forcing her to have sex with more than 10 people before selling her to a Crawford County man for 500 dollars.
And because of Seckingers alleged perjury, those charges have been dismissed.
The victims mother, Amanda, says a grave injustice has been done.
"I'm disguisted. These guys have a long wrap sheet, and most child molesters and child rapists will do it again. They will not be put on a sex offender registry, they can move next door to anybodys home, and nobody will even know who they are."
Amanda says she and her daughter worked closely with Seckinger. And Amanda says because of the alleged lie, the victims trust has been broken yet again.
"It was very hard for her to go through the interviews, and tell her story over and over again. And we told her it was her job as an American for her to do this before our justice system. We told her she had to do this to save other people from going through what she did, and now everything she did was in vain.
Sheriff Jerry Modena has called in the GBI to investigate the alleged perjury, and Seckinger has been placed on paid administrative leave. But Amanda says justice still hasn't been served.
Amanda says there's nothing else they can do now, but protect their daughter, and warn other families.
"Now were going to have to be prepared to protect our child from these monsters who are walking out of jail any day now."
Sheriff Modena brought in the GBI to investigate the case. He says it could take several weeks for the GBI to gather information and reach a conclusion.

Of course modena probably tried to fix this mess but he went public didn't he? Alli works a side job? Wonder if she needed approval. Again so many people had to hurt by herslander and falseaccusations of GUESS WHAT...can anyone out there answer this question? And, ModenA inherited her and her mess from Johnson. Lordy I sure would like to know when she wwill appear in court n if any witnesses r needed to show her true persona there r lots of them out there. Payback can b sweet. Johnson knew this girl personally n most good BSO knew she was un touchable..the lies she/got caught in....unbelievabe she ruined so many careers cause J let her. But beware she has got keverage

why isn't this story all over the media? why did it only run for a day? why is chris krok the only media source still talking about this? has modena put a gag order on the press? this is a huge story and nobody is talking about it anymore? it hit for one day, and now it is gone.....

Allie Seckinger should be arrested and prosecuted for perjury. Jerry Modena should be made to resign for trying to cover this up. Three cases have been thrown out because of these two. Now the victims and their families will live in fear again. And whose child will be the next victim? The BSO officers who work so hard to protect us will be overshadowed by the blight that Modena and Seckinger have brought over them. What a horific mess!!

This set of circumstances is totally DEPLORABLE!!Modena should have his behind served on a platter! HE KNEW about the allegded perjury by Seckinger 17 days before he took action, resulting in these cases being thrown out! I know the teen and her family. They are NOT on trial here! And just to clarify things, these parents did everything they could before and after the disappearance of their child to protect her.

this all boils down to allie seckinger LIED and because she lied, child molesters will walk the street..they could move next door to you and take your child, grandchild, neice or nephew. modena KNEW about this and DID NOT put her on leave! You better pray you dont have an empty house in your neighborhood. There will be lots od child molestors and rapist looking for a place to live soon.

aparent: i can tell you where the parents were during this ordeal! we were walking the streets with hundreds of volunteers handing out flyers and knocking on doors begging for information about this child. We worked shifts and we searched for 11 days!

Um if justice is not carried out yes you should put it on the justice system. Where the girl's parents were is irrelevant to the fact that the investigator committed perjury and the laws are so that the entire case is thrown out as a result.

seckinger should be fired and arrested for perjury because i knw what kind of perswon she is. she threatned to take away my daughter and said that she would be my worst nightmare. seckinger should have bn worrying about this case instead of getting into a petty girl fight between me and sylvia little. this girl came to my job i didnt even knw she exsisted and threatned my life and because sylvia little worked closely with seckinger at dillards they got me arrested. i feel for that little girl because i have a daughter myself. i feel like all of seckingers cases should be reviewed and i feel like mine should be dropped because i did what i knew best witch was to defend myself!!! she tried to ruin my life and justice was not served in my case either, especially when i had people saying they were gonna kill me!!! she deserves what she gets!!

i feel like the teenager has been victimized again by the sheriffs office for not telling the truth. victims put trust into the justice system and see how they are treated. all the investigator had to do is tell the truth. is this justice? i think not. but the person that suffered is the victim once again, welcome to the great city of macon.

The ordeal this child went through sounds horrific. Is this not a case of "White Slavery"? And the animals that held her will walk! This detective should be prosecuted for Gods' sake. Where is the media circus surrounding this case. Could it be the race of those involved. This case shows one, the disturbing present and future of Macon,Ga. One horrible place to live.

it appears that there is no recourse for victims.the justice system is like a egotistic circus where all the clowns compete for regonition,credits and fame instead of really being concerned for the victims they are hired/sworn to protect.
