Montezuma Armed Robbery

A Macon County auto parts business is robbed at gunpoint.

Chief Eric Finch tells FOX 24 News, two men armed with handguns entered the Advance Auto store in Montezuma and demanded cash. Finch says the men left the store with approximately $800 in a Lexus 300 ES, between the year model of 1996 through 2000 with rims.

No one was hurt during the Wednesday evening robbery. If you have any information about the case you can call the Montezuma Police Department at 478-472-6260, ext. 231 or ext 233.

This is yet another senseless crime that has bestowed upon this one little town. Has anyone seen the town of Monteuma. This has clearly got to be an inside job, man. As the economy worsens, so the the mind set of certain people. this is a sad day. Montezuma needs more jobs there anyway. Stop down playing the drama and put someone in the office to help this small town. ASAP
