A Wal-Mart Employee Shot in Parking Lot

Around 2 o'clock Tuesday morning, an employee of Wal-Mart was shot.

Larry Spruill Jr.

Around 2 AM Tuesday an employee of a Dublin Wal-Mart was shot.
Lieutenant Greg Dominey with the criminal investigation office tells FOX 24 several employees were in the Wal-Mart parking lot gathering shopping carts when an employee heard a gunshot.
Dominey say the gunshot struck the employee in the hip, but the bullet didn't hit any bones.

"At this point, it doesn’t appear that someone was shooting at him. It could have been a random act of someone discharging a firearm. We're not sure at this point," said Lt. Greg Dominey.

The employee was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.
Dublin Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Dublin Police Department at (478) 277-5023.

I find it perplexing that so many people never notice the number of firearms walking around in the average WalMart. I also wonder if anyone thought that the person shooting the weapon was in the woods close by as Dublin WalMart is next to so much wooded area.

Another Plexico Burress situation where the employee probably shot himself and he wasn't supposed to have a gun on the lot. I'd carry one that time of the morning.

So who is just standing around in a parking lot accidentally shooting a gun??? I find that hard to believe that this was just a random act of someone discharging a firearm.......so was the suspect ever found and the employee who was shot, did they ever see the person who did this?? Was it a fellow employee with a handgun???
