I live in Hancock Cty close to the Washington Cty line the road near Beulah Highway (Old Linton Rd) I heard a loud boom and the house shook. After about 10 min I heard a smaller boom.

Ok so this confirms what i thought was an earthquake. I live in Milledgeville,GA and at 7:30pm i was in the kitchen when it felt like a Rocket engine was starting under the house. You could actually feel it moving from one end to the other. I immediately heard my sister yell out "did you feel that?...it shook my bed". My neighbors concurred the earthquake as well. It shook hard enough to get my attention.
