Georgia Man Faces Possible Life Sentence in Conviction

Acting U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia, Pete Peterman, III, announces a conviction in U.S. District Court of 39-year-old Wendell Douglas Walker of Georgia.

According to a news release, Walker pled guilty to one count of possession with attempt to distribute more than fifty grams of cocaine and one count of endeavoring to influence a juror.

Walker faces a minimum sentence of twenty years, and a maximum of life in prison, with up to an additional ten years for trying to influence a juror.

The FBI, GBI, and Perry Police were all involved in the investigation of Walker.
