Warner Robins Voters Turn Out in Record Numbers

Larry Spruill, Jr.

Warner Robins voters turned out in record numbers earlier today.
All to vote in the Mayor and City Council race.
Signs and fans lined up down Watson Boulevard showing support for their favorite candidate for both races.
Warner Robins election official, Vida Rawls said the overall turnout was above the anticipated amount.
In Bibb County things weren't quite as busy.
Election Superintendent Elaine Carr says the turnout was low...but they did meet the predicted percentage.
Elaine Carr-Election Superintendent:
"Turnout was expected to be low in Bibb County today, mainly because it was a special location, and the voters haven't been voting all year long."

Record turn out? My comment was going to be how pathetic a turn out it was. There must have been quite a few thousand votes counted after they decide there would be a runoff.
