WGXA Partnering with ABC

Alexia Ridley

“We are proud to have entered into a long term affiliation agreement with the ABC Television Network,” said Keith True, General Manager WGXA Macon, GA.
“The opportunity to be associated with ABC’s strong entertainment, news and sports programming provides a great service to our community along with the addition of local news on the new station.
Beginning January 1, 2010, viewers can find Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Lost, Modern Family, Flash Forward, Good Morning America and their other favorite ABC programming on WGXA Digital Channel both over-the-air and on cable and satellite.”

Now that we have ABC on 24-2 via antennae, we can no longer receive the Channel29 public television stations at night. Is there a connection?

Many of us still get all of our TV from an over the air antenna, not cable or satellite. We are picking up the 24-2 ABC programs, but can't seem to get a schedule to use with our TiVo. When will TiVo be able to find these programs

I'm glad you got your ABC affiliation back and I hope you would find a way to get ABC 16 on DirecTV, otherwise I would have to get my ABC from it's national feed WABC-TV free of charge.

I am certainly sorry to hear that such a good station such as yours would affilate with ABC. The article in the Macon Telegraph states my concerns, please pray about this announcment and change your mind. I will not watch your channel with ABC a part of it. in Christ

What about those of us with satellite service? Are we not going to get any ABC programming?
