Search for Fugitive Leads to Other Arrests

Crawford County authorities say serving a search warrant in attempts to find inmate escapee David Maynard Morris Jr. led to the arrests of four other persons.
According to a news release authorities have arrested 27-year-old Christy Jones, 32-year-old Catherine Hammock, and 32-year-old Jesse Ballard of Lizella and 32-year-old Ronnie Rice of Macon.
All are charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute.
Ballard was also served with a parole violation warrant.
The release states that when authorities entered the residence on Carl Sutton road they found meth with a total street value of three thousand dollars.
