Helena Man Accused of Trying Rob Senior Citizen

A Helena man is charged with burglary after deputies say he attempted to rob a Dodge County senior citizen.
According to a press release, 20-year old Scott Ryan Harrington is charged with burglary. Deputies say Harrington is accused of entering the home of a seventy-four year old woman on Helena Dirt Road in Dodge County this past weekend.
The press release states Harrington was scared off by a burglar alarm at the home. Deputies searched the area around the house, but were unable to locate Harrington. He later turned himself into the Telfair County Jail.
The Dodge County District Attorney’s Office is considering additional charges against Harrington. The burglary remains under investigation.

Someone needs to find out who is doing all the break ins in Dodge County. We have at least 5 reported break ins in Chester alone and no one seems to be doing anything about it. Someone is going to eventually get hurt!
