Copper Theft Arrest

Macon Police have arrested a suspected copper thief. Sgt. Melanie Hofmann says police arrested 47-year-old Terrell Booze of Macon after an alert citizen saw Booze stripping copper from an air conditioning unit at a residence in the 3600 clock of Pineland Trail. Hofmann says Booze is being held at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and is charged with criminal damage to property and violation of probation.
