Kidnapped Child is Recovered

Sgt. Melanie Hofmann tells FOX 24 News, Shawn Clark, Sr. brought his son - Shawn Clark, Jr. - to the Macon Police Department Criminal Investigation Division and surrendered to the investigators.

Macon Police have charged Shawn Clark, Sr with Kidnapping in the abduction of his son. He was also charged with Aggravated Stalking in a previous incident.

Shawn Clark, Jr. has been returned to his mother. This case is still under investigation.

Hofmann says the non-custodial father took Shawn Clark, JR. from his classroom at Jessie Rice Elementary school.

Hoffman says Friday at noon... Shawn Clark senior went to the school with Tenica Spence... and removed his son and left with Tenica... Tenica's child and Shawn Clark junior in Spence's gold 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe with Georgia tag ACR4829.
