NewsCentral Staff

Just as Macon makes another debut Friday night on the big screen with "Trouble with the Curve," we're getting a sneak peak of another movie set to hit theaters with a Macon connection.

The trailer for the movie "42" was recently released. Crews spent 18 days this summer filming parts of the movie in and around Macon. The movie, based on the life of baseball player Jackie Robinson, included 300 to 400 crew members and more than 1,000 extras.

The movie filmed in locations including Central City Park at Luther Williams Field and in the Terminal Station.

"42" hits theaters in April of 2013.
