3 Charged In Macon Death

Three people are behind bars accused of murdering a Macon woman.
Macon Police say 38-year old Tracy Michelle Jones of Macon, 23-year old Courtney Nicole Kelly of Warner Robins and 18-year old Michael Brett Kelly of Macon are charged with Felony Murder in the death of Gail Spencer. All three suspects will go before a magistrate judge this afternoon for a bond hearing.
Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones tells WGXA 58-year old Spencer was found dead early Saturday morning in her Stinsonville Road home. The death has been ruled a homicide.
Police were called to the home to do a welfare check after neighbors noticed inconsistencies with Spencer's daily routine.
Police are not releasing much information at this time regarding the murder. However, a neighbor said people in the neighborhood saw a bag over Spencer's head. Friends also said Spencer had information of embezzlement regarding a co-worker. Jones and Spencer worked for real estate law firm Pinkston and Associates
Spencer was the secretary of noted local attorney and consolidation leader Calder Pinkston.
