Five Bibb County schools make list for high performing, high progress

Five Bibb County schools have made the list for being high performing and having high progress rates. The Georgia Department of Education released the statewide lists Thursday.
Alexander II Magnet School made the list for being a "Highest-Performing School." Schools in this category are among the five percent of Georgia Title One schools that have the highest performance over three years on statewide assessments.
Howard High School, Bloomfield and Ballard Hudson Middle Schools and Bernd Elementary School made the state's list as "High-Progress Schools." These are among the 10-percent of Georgia Title One schools making the most progress on improving statewide tests.
