13-year-old dies in September ATV accident

WGXA has learned about a 13-year-old boy who died after an ATV accident in Monroe County.

It happened September 30th along McCommon Road. Deputies say when they arrived at the scene, Jacob Woerner was unresponsive.

They believe Woerner was going too fast and hit a steel cable. He suffered serious injuries to his neck and apparently was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
