Robins' C-130 Team Honored with Prestigious Award

Robins' C-130 team receives a prestigious award for increasing aircraft availability.
John Johns, the deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for maintenance policy and programs at the Pentagon presented the award to the C-130 team at Robins Air Force Base Thursday.
The team received the Robert T Mason Award for increasing C-130 aircraft availability by returning 64 aircraft to operating units, achieving one hundred percent on time delivery.
John Johns:
“They are truly working at high levels of efficiency to be awarded this award. They are truly the best of the best. “
By the end of the fiscal year, the maintenance team was able to reduce customer reported deficiencies by sixty percent.
