Maconites and many other central Georgian’s will hit the polls Tuesday to voice their opinion on the SPLOST, Sunday alcohol sales, and the Mayor's race, among other issues.
Board of Elections employees were busy Monday making sure Tuesday's election goes off without a hitch.
Elaine Carr with the Bibb County Board of Elections told NewsCentral, "Today the units were delivered by truck this morning to all our voting locations so all the units are where they are supposed to be today and they will be picked up first thing Wednesday morning. The poll managers are in here today picking up their bins, their express poll units to be ready for in the morning. We're tying up the loose ends on where people voted Friday trying to make sure everything adds up, sums up, comes up correctly. We're ready to start tomorrow morning."
If you missed out on early voting or just prefer to vote on the actual election day, but do not know where your local polling facility is, you can find that information by looking up the county board of elections website, the state board website or calling 478-621-6622 NewsCentral will have full coverage of all the area elections on FOX 24, ABC 16, and of course, online at NewsCentralGA.com.
