NewsCentral Staff

Time's ticking away in the Bibb County Democratic Primary for Sheriff. Monday, this was one of the races that some considered too close to call. NewsCentral's Chace Ambrose spoke with all three of the Democratic candidates Tuesday and here's what they wanted to say to their supporters.

"I'd like to thank them so very very much for all of their prayers and their votes. I'd like to thank them for just being concerned about this community to get out and vote because we've got to make it a safer place." -Bill Lucas/Candidate for Sheriff

"Well, I want to tell my supporters I really appreciate everything that everyone has done for me during this campaign. It's been very humbling, its been very enriching to me to go out and to meet all the people in the community and to make contact and to really tell them how we plan to secure their future." -David Davis/Candidate for Sheriff

"Oh I want to thank my supporters so much, they've been so adamant about working with me and when I didn't have a lot of workers the ones that volunteered, volunteered. They came in and I just thank God for all my volunteers they have really put forth a big effort." -Albert Hall/Candidate for Sheriff
