Corner Grocery employees robbed at gunpoint while closing store

Macon Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Corner Grocery on Walnut Street.

It happened December 13th aroung 9:10 p.m. Police say as employees were preparing to close the store, two black males entered dressed in black wearing ski masks and gloves.

One suspect pointed a black handgun at the two employees and demanded money, while the other suspect went behind the counter and took money from the register. The suspects fled on foot up Walnut Street to Ward Street.
