Two Elementary Students found with weapons in Bibb Co. School

School officials say safety remains a priority

Two knives were discovered at a Bibb County Elementary School.
School officials say two students at Springdale Elementary each had a knife in their possession this week.
They say one incident happened on Monday and the other on Tuesday.
School administrators believe the incidents are unrelated.
The two students have not been arrested.
Letters were sent out notifying parents about the weapons discovered on campus three days after the first occurrence.
