The United States Armed Forces Honored with Memorial Marker at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins.

The permanent Blue Star Memorial Marker was unveiled during a special ceremony outside of the Museum of Aviation on Friday.
Dozens of people attended the event.
The Blue Star Marker honors United States Soldiers who have fought in combat.
The Camellia District of the Garden Club of Georgia provided the marker.
Naomi Gerson, Camellia District Director, said the marker honors past, present and future soldiers.
"It's such an honor that they are willing to give their time to defend our freedom for which our founding fathers laid the principles many years ago," said Gerson.
Colonel Patricia Ross, Vice Commander of the 78th Air Base Wing, officially accepted the marker on behalf of the Robins Air Force Base.
The marker will be located next to the sidewalk in front of Hangar One on the Robins Air Force Base.
