Macon Police are pleading for help in the murder of a mother of three who was found shot and burned inside of her Macon apartment last year.

Macon Police have hit a road block in a gruesome murder of a mother of three who was shot and burned last year.

The severely burned body of 41-year-old Yvonne Jackson was on a stretcher and wheeled out of her apartment at 1147 Patterson Street in Macon on the morning of March 30, 2012.

Police said Jackson had been shot in the head and her body burned beyond recognition.

Macon Police Detective Alex Rozier is the lead investigator in the case. During his investigation, he learned Jackson was devoted to her family.

"She was a mother of three, she was very devoted to her church and also to her work," said Detective Rozier.

Jackson's brutal murder left neighbors shocked and police searching for clues.

"We have spoken to friends, family, church members and coworkers," said Detective Rozier.

It's been almost 10 months since Jackson's murder and still no arrests. However, Detective Rozier believes with the right information her gruesome murder can be solved.

"Somebody had to have spoken of this crime, even if you don't know the full story." said Detective Rozier. “Maybe you overheard a conversation."

Rozier is pleading for anyone with information to come forward and help catch the murderer who killed a dedicated mother of three children.

Rozier said any tip that leads to a conviction in Jackson's murder could receive a total of 11,000 dollars in reward money.

The Macon-Bibb County Fire Department is offering a 10,000 dollar reward for the arson in this case. There's also a 1,000 dollar reward from CrimeStoppers for the unsolved murder.
