Mercer University's enrollment is on the rise.
The college enrolled a record number of students for the sixth year in a row.
The student population is up by more than 8,341 this fall.
Mercer University enrolled an additional 313 students in non-credit programs, principally international students in its english language institute.
The university also enrolled the largest-ever incoming undergraduate class on its macon campus with 766 entering freshmen and transfer students in the fall.
