Macon Police Investigate Overnight Shootings

Two overnight shootings leave Macon Police looking for answers.

Just after 4 a.m. Monday, officers responded to a person shot at Sherwood Apartments on Bloomfield road.

Upon arrival the victim said that he was approached by black man wearing all black that pulled out a pistol and started shooting striking him in the left leg.

Just over the fence on Pine Forest road another victim was shot in the left buttocks after being caught watching an argument among several black men.

Both victims remain hospitalized after undergoing surgery. These cases remain under investigation.
