A former Macon Police officer has been arrested a second time on theft charges.

Troy Guidry,41, was arrested late Monday evening, just days after being charged with stealing a backhoe from a Macon plumbing company.
Guidry and ex-cop Jon Wantz were both arrested for taking the 25,000 dollar machinery while on duty last week.
Both men have since resigned from the Macon Police Department.
Guidry's new charges include two felony counts of theft by taking, two counts of altered vehicle identification numbers and one count fiduciary theft.
Macon Police have yet to comment on why Guidry was charged.
Guidry has been released from the Bibb LEC on a $18,050 bond.
